Sergeant Shenk's Book On Knife Throwing

There are a handfull of books to choose from out there that cover the subject of knife throwing but this is by far one of the best. Everything you need to know about knife throwing is clearly explained, illustrated and easy to understand. Mr. Shenk's ''no nonsense'' theroy and practice shine through in his book. His story of how he got started is very interesting. In my opinion wheather you are new to throwing, been throwing for awhile or just interested there is something for everyone in this book!! I especialy enjoyed the chapter dealing with selecting the proper knife and how to strip it down to create a proper thrower. As an avid knife thrower myself I wish I had found this when I was starting out and Highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to start throwing for themselves.
I hope this review will help anyone who is seaching for info and answers for this incredibly fun and gratifying alternative sport.

interesting, easy to understand

I agree with Hans Leck's review... except I'm not an avid knife thrower. I'm interested and have read a tiny bit about it but never thrown a knife (yet). I found the book interesting, clear and easy to understand.
