Time I'll never get back

This book was so horrible I can't believe that it was meant to be a romance novel. The book starts off with Alessandro coming to stay at the house where Michelle is a housekeeper and for a few days they flirt with each other until Alessandro finally takes Michelle's virginity and leaves the country while she's sleeping.

After Alessandro finds out Michelle's pregnant he totally railroads her and desides he's going to marry her because in his opinion she's immoral because she didn't tell him she was a virgin and all she was looking for was to trap him by having his baby. Alessandro goes on to call the paparzzi to surround Michelle's store so that she has no choice but to back to Italy with him if she ever plans to live without journalist in her face (journalist I should remind you that Alessandro called in the first place) and then threatens to make her lose her job, her home, and to sue for sole custody and deny her any access. At this point in the book I was so disgusted that I felt the need to throw something, and to my horror the story just got worse from there.

Alessandro had a horrible childhood and didn't feel loved by his parents and the author explains this at the end of the story to explain away everything he did to Michelle, but it just made me hate him even more. Michelle also had a bad childhood but she didn't treat people like crap. The author's portrayal of Alessandro was truly disgusting, Alessandro even went as far as to tell Michelle after he told her they were getting married (told not asked)as they are about to go to bed together that he "does not do fidelity." Alessandro was rude and domineering throughout the whole book and decides that he was wrong and he really does "love" Michelle in the last five pages.

I would NOT recommend this book to anyone (or this author if her other books are anything like this one) who likes romances because this defintely not the one for you. Michelle has no self esteem, or the ability to stand up for herself, even going so far as to apologize to Alessandro for getting pregnant (as though it were totally her fault) because of bad publicity it may generate for his company. And Alessandro is an egotistical domineering pig with no thought for anyone's feelings, much less Michelle's.

Dont waste your time!

I have to agree with the other two reviewers. This book is bad. Both characters are weak and the storyline drags on with no real plot. I've never read a book by this author before and I will definitely make sure to steer clear in the future.

It was a huge disappointment. The plot was hard to follow. The main charactors was terrible. The male charactor was mean and controling. and the female was a push over. wish i didnt waste my money on this dribble.

I started this book and I was like I know I'm going to get my heart broken

I'm not going to lie.. when I read the sypnosis of this book I was hesitant to read it because I'm not into "triangles" because the heroine always goes for the safer choice and not the right one, but boy was I wrong... its just so much more.. I started this book and I was like I know I'm going to get my heart broken, but Its just so good that I need to continue.. I did finish it and I was freaking blown away.. I'm not a big fan of fairytales and books like this one, but this book definitely changed my POV about them.. We meet Ginger, Woodman and Cain...

I fell in love with Ginger instantly let's be honest she is just beautiful and amazing.. she won my heart when she was 12.. but boy at the end of the book I wanted my own damn Ginger

Woodman.. well with him I wanted to hate him, but I didn't in the end.. yes he was the safer choice the best friend.. we knew he was going to be the right one, but from the start I knew he wasn't the one.. I respected him in the sense of being with Ginger even thought he knew were her heart was.. its hard to deal with falling in love with someone who is obviously in love with someone else.. so kudos to you my man for that..

Cain... now bare with me here because this dude is just wow!! I have no words Team Cain for the win!!!! I loved Cain since page 1!!! yes there were times where I was like dammit Cain!!! Why Cain, etc, but I understood him completely because when you love someone as much as he did Ginger you want the best for them even when you think you're not it.. you rather see them shine and be with someone else than hurt them.. and this is what my boy Cain did he stepped aside and put aside his feelings to make Woodman and Ginger happy.. what he didn't realize was that "the right choice" broke Ginger.. In the end I was happy on how the end turned out because Cain really truly deserved to be happy..

As a guy I'm going to say that this book changed my POV in some things.. not going to get into details, but I'm glad I read it and I will continue to support this amazing author without a doubt so I give 5 Happily ever after stars to this book!!!!

I'll wait... (this one broke me... seriously did because I was listening to a song with the same lyric.. I had to stop reading for 5 minutes because the damn tears wouldn't stop..)

How can you describe perfection??

I'm having trouble finding words to describe how I feel about this book. How can I put into words the feelings I have for characters who touched my heart in such profound ways. Katy has such a way with words. I felt every happy feeling, every heartbreak, every tear shed. I laughed at Cain's witty nature, my heart broke for the bad boy with an amazing heart.. It ached for him in so many ways. There are so many feels.. So so many.. The loss, the love, the healing, the words of wisdom. The shift in the story where it all changes.. More than once.. There are so many things I want to say... I just don't know how..

Cain ~ the bad boy with the amazing heart who does’t feel worthy
Woodman ~ the golden boy who has his life all planned out
Ginger ~ the girl they both love and she loves them both in wildly completely different ways
… How can this possibly end well????
It is destined that someone is going to get hurt…
And boy does it hurt… In ways that you won’t expect. Things happen that you NEVER see coming from a mile away.. until it hits, and it hits hard. And you're left wondering how your shattered heart will be whole again.. But it mends. Katy's beautiful way with words heals that broken heart.

I had all sorts of pre conceived notions when I stated this book.. I had a clear cut winner before I opened to page 1… that the is the problem with preconceived notions. They tend to be WRONG… This book was more than I anticipated it could be, nothing of what I expected it to be and everything I wanted it to be!! There is something that is so pure in the love they all have for one another born out of a lifetime of memories. No malice.. No intentional heartbreak so to speak and that's what hurts the most. Misunderstandings, lost opportunities, words left unsaid.. But true love has a way of finding its way no matter what..

There are things you know at a soul deep level. Who you love. Who you are meant to love in the deepest depth of your being can’t be ignored no matter what your head might tell you. Ginger always had to follow her heart..

An unforgettable love story

Ginger's Heart is Katy Regnery's new modern fairy tale based on Little Red Riding Hood. It's a story about the Three Musketeers of McHuid Farm: Virginia Laire McHuid aka Ginger and her two childhood friends Cain Holden Wolfram and Josiah Asher Woodman. Cain and Josiah are cousins (born to identical twin sisters Sarah and Sophie) and couldn't be more different.

The blond haired and green eyed Josiah is the golden boy of Apple Valley. He is the son of a local banker and is raised up in a wealthy family. The Woodmans and the McHuids are very close. They spend a lot of time together and invite each other to social events.

The dark haired and blue eyed Cain is the trouble maker of Apple Valley. His father is the stallion manager at the McHuid farm. Even though his father Klaus and Ginger's father Ranger are on good terms, the Wolframs are excluded from the fancy festivities at the McHuid household.

Despite their differences, each cousin owns a piece of Ginger's heart. Over the years the dynamic between these three will change when feelings get into the mix that go far beyond friendship. Promises will be made and hearts will be broken. It will all come down to one question: Who will Ginger chose? The tender hearted golden boy that makes her feel safe and gives her stability or the blue eyed unpredictable devil that sets her heart on fire?

Excellent Book on Real Analysis

Whether you are a newbie to real analysis who is still unsure of how the reals are constructed or a veteran in the field seeking to sharpen your knowledge with some hardcore measure theory, this book serves both extremes. The author starts off from the absolute fundamentals of field and order axioms and works all the way up to Banach spaces while essentially spoon-feeding you with detailed and easy-to-follow proofs of otherwise abstruse theorems; in fact, they are so detailed and sometimes so obvious that I ended up skipping every other line of most proofs. Also, copious exercises (bordering on excessive), ranging from your run-of-the-mill proofs of why sin(x) is continuous to more intriguing problems like proving the uniqueness of the reals, provide the student with every opportunity to practice and master the material.

Reading this book-instead of just the pre-pub discussion around it-makes one thing perfectly clear: it will not, as has been hoped or feared, do for any Clinton presidential campaign what Unfit For Command did for the Kerry one. This clip & paste job by a former editor of the New York Times magazine is unlikely to change a single mind, let alone vote-to paraphrase the political commentator, conservative Tucker Carlson, readers who already hate lightning-rod Clinton know why they hate her. Those who like her won't find their minds changed by any of the ersatz revelations in this ultimately uninteresting book. Klein, also the author of several books about the Kennedys, conducted some live interviews for this one, but he also borrowed liberally (pun intended) from dozens of published books and articles. What "news" he turns up is too minor to make even Entertainment Tonight: the former First Lady drinks decaffeinated coffee, likes to sleep late in the morning (unlike her early-riser husband) and is self conscious about her thick legs. Oh, and as a Wellesley student in the 1970s, she had lesbian friends and didn't shave her legs or underarms. Klein seems intent on rehashing the rehash in this too-boring-to-even-be-execrable title. While glossing over such provocative-and substantive-Clinton issues as Whitewater, Travel-gate and Vince Foster's suicide, he concentrates nearly half of his 250 pages on-you guessed it-Monica Lewinsky. His central point: Hillary wasn't surprised, as she wrote in her memoir Living History, by an early morning confession from Bill about Monica. She had in fact known about the president's chronic womanizing-and Monica specifically-for some time. Her "wronged wife" act was just that: spin to garner sympathy for her own political ends. It's certainly true that Hillary came through the Monica mess as a more sympathetic character to many voters, but I don't remember Clinton so much as cultivating a wronged wife image as having one thrust upon her by the media. And in any case, who cares? There's no doubt that the Lewinsky affair was embarrassing and hurtful to the then-First Lady; she neither created nor enjoyed it. Besides, who hasn't put a different face on painful personal behavior that somehow went public? Another of Klein's points is that Hillary is ambitious-and that in her quest for power, she has put off lots of people including, he says, the revered late New York senator, Daniel Patrick Moynihan and his campaign manager wife, Liz. (Moynihan's daughter has denied any problems in her parents' relationship with the senator.) Again, the word that comes to mind is "Duh." I'd be tempted to pull out that old saw about how if Clinton were a man, "ambitious" would be a compliment, but since she's a woman, it's a synonym for that word that rhymes with "rich." I'd do that, but that would be too Klein-ian of me: superficial, clich�d and gender obsessed. But maybe I'm wrong about one thing: perhaps The Truth will change some votes. After reading it, those who've been tepid about the senator might indeed rally around her. After all, Klein makes it clear that any time someone tries to humiliate her publicly, she somehow manages to come out on top. -Sara Nelson.

Better than anticipated

I've heard alot about this book - mainly about how poorly written, how factually inaccurate and how malicious it was. That surprised me because I know that Ed Klein is not some conservative nutjob. He is in fact a product of The New York Times and other established media. So my curiosity was raised.. and I read the book for myself.

What I found is a well-written, easy read, and most importantly a reasoned and documented discussion of the women who may well be our next president. Unlike some other reviews, I find it important to know about the personal characteristics of one who would be president. I felt it was important to know whether George W. Bush neglected his duty in the Air National Guard, and I felt it was important to know whether John Kerry lied about or fabricated his Vietnam experiences. So I feel it's also important to know what Hillary's core values are, how she developed those beliefs, how she applied those beliefs and how she's adjusted those beliefs. This book gives some of the best insight into those questions.

Klein does not appear to be on some kind of political rant, nor does his background suggest it. It is clear that he's found some disturbing elements of Hillary's background (both politcal and personal) and is highlighting them. That is a worthy and necessary job.

That Hillary's people don't like what he's written is understandable. The lengths that they've gone to discredit and destroy the author is not. But that is another part of Hillary's disturbing elements.

Read the book for yourself. I'm not sure if Hillary's people have.

She is worse than I thought!!!

This is not for Hillary lovers. Her quest for power is unbelievable. I knew she was a liar, but a pathological liar. She never had motherhood skills. She has known about Bill and his girls from the very beginning. For better polling, she plays the victim, when she knew of every affair Bill ever had. If every voter read this book, she would never get elected to the Presidency. She is clearly a dirt bag.

She now admits to having a lot of baggage. She will not however, admit to the complicity in the Benghazi incident. I think she belongs in jail. She said during a Senate hearing, "what difference does it make?" The difference it makes is that she may very well be culpable for her lack of responsibility during the incident. She also allowed the sex scandals in the State Department on her watch but says nothing about it. Perhaps she is a good lawyer but not a good citizen and therefore would not make a good President. What did she really accomplish as Secretary of State? What happened to her health plan when her husband was President? Has she ever really done anything to help this country in any way?

Truth About Hillary

If the author has been blackballed from the Mainstream (Clinton) media, which includes Network TV, and the print media, which he certainly was, and his book is slated to appear on the NY Times Bestseller list for the fifth straight week, imagine the outpouring of interest this book would receive if it just enjoyed normal reviews.

My feelings and beliefs about HRC have been more than substantiated as I read this thoroughly proofessional expose. She may be considered to be smart, but I can't remember hearing praises for her good character and just plain honesty. It also is embarassing that we have the NY Times downplaying Ed Kleins novel while it is enjoying its rightful place on the best seller list in that very same paper, and that they have the nerve to claim they represent the American people.

In my opinion, Mr. Klein deserves high praises for this courageous portrayal of the truth about Hillary, when he knew he would be landslided by the Clinton media machine.

About the Author
Louis Gary Lamit is the former head of the drafting department and CAD facility manager at De Anza College in Cupertino California. Mr. Lamit has worked as a drafter, designer, numerical control (NC) programmer, technical illustrator, and engineer in the automotive, aircraft, and piping industries. A majority of his work experience is in the area of mechanical and piping design. He started as a drafter in Detroit (as a job shopper) in the automobile industry, doing tooling, dies, jigs and fixture layout, and detailing at Koltenbar Engineering, Tool Engineering, Time Engineering, and Premier Engineering for Chrysler, Ford, AMC, and Fisher Body. Mr. Lamit has worked at Remington Arms and Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a designer, and at Boeing Aircraft and Kollmorgan Optics as an NC programmer and aircraft engineer. Mr. Lamit also owns and operates his own consulting firm, and has been involved with advertising and patent illustrating.

Best book to learn Creo Parametric 2.0 (formerly Pro/ENGINEER from PTC)

Gary Limit's propensity for writing textbooks throughout the years truly comes out in this new Creo Parametric 2.0 version. I could not ask for a better manual to instruct my students with. Concise and well presented with a strong approach on appropriate parametric modeling techniques that are not usually covered in other CAD books. This is without a doubt the best-written introduction book on Creo Parametric 2.0 (formerly Pro/ENGINEER from PTC) I have ever worked with. It is also quite good as an upgrade book. Not only does it cover parametric modeling with a step-by-step approach were one learned technique builds on another, but it also covers assembles and detailing as well. It comprehensively covers the new and highly evolved Creo Parametric interface. The book includes access to his personal web page "CAD-Resources" dot com, with a link for a free Tryout Edition of Creo Parametric, access to lectures, as well as over a dozen complimentary projects that add hundreds of free pages for the user to access and the ability to stretch and practice what they have learned. What a deal...If you find a better introductory Creo Parametric book I will eat this one and the entire series!

Just got done with using this text in my 6th semester. Was able to flip the classroom because it came with 30 plus hours of "classroom" lectures. Instead of standing in front of the class I walked around and assisted students (mostly industry professionals looking to upgrade skills) Answered questions in the classroom and on line for my distance learning students. Everyone of my students liked the process and loved the book and lectures. They could start and stop and rewind the lectures and not miss anything like they used to do with traditional instruction. The text was so precise and error free that I has few real questions. My experience is that only people who are hung up on anther system-ACAD, Solidworks, and keep comparing commands a new system even with a great text.

Creo Learning as Easy as It Gets

This is a great tutorial for learning proe/creo. Mr. Lamit has a knack for putting just the right amount of theory with the exercises. In addition, lectures can be downloaded that mimic the book exercises. I believe the excellence of the book is indicative of a person who has dedicated their career to design. Hard to beat a been there done person with a passion for the subject. The book in combination with the lectures is a great value. I recommend them highly.

About the Author
Buddy D. Ratner, Michael L. and Myrna Darland Endowed Chair in Bioengineering and Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington, received his Ph.D. (1972) in polymer chemistry from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. From 1985-1996 he directed the NIH-funded National ESCA and Surface Analysis Center for Biomedical Problems (NESAC/BIO), and in 1996 he assumed the directorship of University of Washington Engineered Biomaterials (UWEB), an NSF Engineering Research Center. He is the editor of the Journal of Undergraduate Research in Bioengineering, a past president of the Society for Biomaterials and author of 400 scholarly works. Ratner is a fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), the American Vacuum Society and a Fellow, Biomaterials Science and Engineering (FBSE). He served as president of AIMBE, 2002-2003. He is vice president of the Tissue Engineering Society International (TESI) 2003-2005. In 2002 Ratner was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering, USA, and in 2004 he won the Founder’s Award for the Society For Biomaterials. His research interests include biomaterials, tissue engineering, polymers, biocompatibility, surface analysis of organic materials, self-assembly, nanobiotechnology and RF-plasma thin film deposition. Professor Hoffman studied at M.I.T., where he received B.S., M.S., and Sc.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering between 1953 and 1957. He taught on the faculty of M.I.T. Chemical Engineering Department for a total of ten years. He also spent four years in industry. Since 1970 he has been Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Professor Hoffman has over 330 publications, several books and chapters, 21 patents and several other patents pending. He is on the Editorial Boards of seven scientific journals. Frederick J. Schoen is Professor of Pathology and Health Sciences and Technology, Harvard Medical School; Director of Cardiac Pathology and Executive Vice-Chairman in the Department of Pathology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) in Boston. Schoen received a B.S.E. (Materials and Metallurgical Engineering) from the University of Michigan (1966), a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Cornell University (1970) and an M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine (1974). Following a Surgery internship followed by residency in Anatomic Pathology and fellowship in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Pathology at the University of Florida, he joined BWH in 1980. Schoen has focused his research career on tissue-biomaterial interactions, structure-function-pathology correlations in the native heart valves, heart valve substitutes and other cardiovascular prostheses, calcification of bioprosthetic tissues, heart transplantation, and cardiovascular applications of tissue engineering. Schoen has leadership responsibilities in academic programs in the Department of Pathology, Harvard Medical School and the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST); he currently chairs the HST Faculty Appointments Committee and the Graduate (Curriculum) Committee, and is an active teacher of courses in pathology, cardiovascular pathology, and biomaterials and tissue engineering. He chairs the BWH Education Committee. Schoen is author or co-author of approximately 375 manuscripts in journals and books. Textbook is good and comprehensive, but the index and organization leaves a lot to be desired. If I were to buy this again I would definitely try to get the electronic version-I expect it would be searchable so the poor index wouldn't be a hindrance.
